Is there a dress code?+
Smart casual is expected after sunset in our dining rooms and on the main casino floor. Gentlemen should wear closed shoes and a collared shirt; we will lend a jacket from our cloakroom on request. Beach attire is fine at the pools and lagoon bars during the day. Trainers, beachwear, and swim shorts are not permitted in the main restaurants from 19:00 onwards.
What is your cancellation policy?+
Bookings may be cancelled at no charge up to fourteen days before arrival. Cancellations within fourteen days are charged the first night; no-shows are charged the full stay. Suites and villas reserved under our Best Available Rate may be cancelled until 48 hours before arrival. We always suggest travel insurance.
Can you host private events?+
Yes. Our two ballrooms, eight private dining rooms, beach pavilion, and rotunda can be hired privately, with capacities from eight to four hundred guests. Weddings and milestone celebrations are a particular pleasure of ours; our events director will prepare a proposal within forty-eight hours of a first enquiry.
Are pets welcome?+
Selected ground-floor suites and our Garden Villas welcome pets on request, with a one-off cleaning charge added to your stay. We provide a complimentary welcome amenity for your dog (bed, bowls, treats), a walking service twice daily, and grooming on request. Cats are welcome in carriers but our suites do not have litter facilities — please tell us in advance.
A coastal retreat, 42 years in the making.
Founded in 1984 on a private stretch of Mediterranean shore, Luminaforestrest was built for guests who measure value in how a place makes them feel, not what it puts on display. We opened with six rooms, a kitchen, and a small bar. Today we have 180 keys, three restaurants and two private gaming salons, yet the original kitchen still serves dinner every night.
From the casino floors to the spa terraces, every room and every ritual is shaped by people who have spent their lives refining hospitality. Our head sommelier has been with us for many years. Continuity is not a marketing phrase for us; it is the entire point.
We hold a five-star rating from every guide that matters, but the recognition we prize most tightly is the one we cannot frame: more than 72 percent of our reservations each year come from guests who have stayed with us before. That is the only figure we track.
